Frequently asked questions
What sizes and resolutions can I download?
A4 is 210×297 mm at 2480×3508 pixels; A3 is 297×420 mm at 3508×4961 pixels. The 2:3 option is 8×12 inches at 2400×3600 pixels. These are approximately 300 pixels per inch at the stated sizes. Enlarging the 2:3 image to 24×36 inches reduces its resolution to 100 pixels per inch.
Should I choose PDF or PNG for printing?
Choose PDF when you want the selected physical page size preserved. Print at 100% / Actual size, not Fit to page. PNG contains the image pixels; set the intended dimensions when placing it in another app or ordering a print.
Does the PDF include bleed or CMYK color?
No. The PDF contains the poster artwork at the chosen page size, without added bleed. Colors come from the browser canvas, not a CMYK proofing workflow. Ask your print shop about its bleed, color and margin requirements before ordering.
Can I print A3 on an A4 printer?
A true-size A3 poster needs A3 paper or a print service that supports it. A printer may scale it down to A4, but it will no longer be A3. This tool does not split a large poster across several sheets.
